Mr. Gregg Vossler has more than forty years of hands-on educational experience as a teacher, principal, and superintendent in the United States, China, the United Arab Emirates, and Bosnia. 


He lived for eighteen years in China with his wife and four children where he served as principal of the Tianjin International School (1

Mr. Gregg Vossler has more than forty years of hands-on educational experience as a teacher, principal, and superintendent in the United States, China, the United Arab Emirates, and Bosnia. 


He lived for eighteen years in China with his wife and four children where he served as principal of the Tianjin International School (1991-1999) and  superintendent of International Schools of China (1995-2010). 


He has overseen the start-up of American international schools in China, the UAE, and Bosnia and has extensive experience in international school operations and teacher recruiting and management.

Ms. Kris Crum serves as the Director of Guidance and Counseling. She helps students clarify their career directions, formulate and supervise personal academic growth plans, select and apply to universities around the world, and assist in obtaining scholarships and grants.


Ms. Crum began teaching at Tianjin International School in 1996 and moved to Qingdao MTI International School in 1997. She help create the Guidance Counseling Program at QMIS in 2005. 


She is familiar with the thinking habits and cultural background of Chinese students and has rich counseling experience in career planning, university application, and student counseling.

Ms Evans enjoys helping students discover, learn and develop their personal talents and potential. She is proficient in Spanish, speaks softly, speaks clearly, and has a magnetic voice. Listening to her speaking in English is like a spring breeze, and is described by the students as "aristocratic". She is creative, loves cooking, and often makes a variety of exquisite meals for everyone.
